X-BUG is a free and open-source defect management system designed for individuals and small-to-medium software development teams. Unlike heavy project management tools, X-BUG focuses on reducing management overhead and operational costs, making it quick to adopt while keeping software quality under control.
It is built with Spring Boot on the backend and Vue.js on the frontend, supporting cross-platform deployment.
- Team Management – Handle teams, members, and roles, usually maintained by team admins.
- Project Management – Manage project defects and members, handled by project admins.
- Module Management – Track and manage software modules, maintained by developers.
- Defect Management – Record requirements, test cases, and bugs, maintained by QA testers.
